July GlossyBox - Ready, steady, Glow!

I actually signed up to GlossyBox early last month, but missed out on June's box as it had already sold out. I know a lot of subscribers were dissatisfied with the contents of June's box and I have to say, I wasn't that disappointed that I'd missed out after seeing what others had received. I came home today to find that July's box had been delivered and frantically opened the lovely packaging to see what goodies were inside....

GlossyBox

I wasn't disappointed when I lifted the lid and found three full size products inside!

July GlossyBox contents

A full size Illamasqua Powdered Metal Powder in Ether which is described a shimmering, pale gold highlighter.

A full size Ciate Nail Enamel in Skinny Jeans.

A 100ml bottle of Weleda Pomegranate Regenerating Oil.

A mini bottle of Orla Kiely Eau De Parfum & Ultrasun face SPF 30.

I obviously haven't had chance to try anything properly yet, but I have swatched the Illamasqua powder which looks really pretty and I've also had a quick sniff of the EDP and oil. The perfume smells really lovely and the oil is absolutely beautiful, really looking forward to testing it out properly this evening.

I'm obviously over the moon with the contents of my GlossyBox this month. The three full sized products are worth around £50.00, so considering the box cost £10.00 (the price is increasing slightly in September), it's fantastic deal.

Have you had your GlossyBox yet? What did you get?

  3. This was my first one as well, I got a set of false eyelashes, a dark tanning product, the same nail varnish but in a red colour, an Illamasqua lipgloss and the same Weleda product you got. I think I'll only use two of the products but thats the risk you take, I'm glad I didn't get anything like a batiste dry shampoo ;)

  8. I also got the same box as you, but a green polish. It's my first box, and I LOVE it - the edp is lovely, and I'm tempted to get some of that.

  13. That looks like a fun polish color too - I love blue polish, it reminds me of Butter London's Blagger.

  15. sparkle beauty blog, the perfume's lovely, isn't it? The green polish you had in yours sounds great too!

TheBristolBeautyBlog, the contents do seem to be a lot better than lasts months, not sorry I missed out June's.

Replica, It's a shame you'll only use a couple of the products you got. As you said, I suppose it's the risk you take. I'm glad there wasn't a Baptiste dry shampoo in this one too! :D

Beautyshades, no it seems everyone gets slightly different products each month.

Nina, me too! The lip gel you had in yours sounds lovely.

Monika, aww that's a bit of a shame. I'm the complete opposite (quite pale) so I would have preferred the self tan :)

Vintage, does it? I haven't really read many posts on the Birchbox so I'm not sure what type of goodies are in them, I think the monthly subscription is slightly cheaper than GlossyBox though?

too_busy_to_stitch, the EDP is lovely, I'm tempted to buy a full bottle too!

Sidney, still haven't tried the Illamasqua powder properly yet, but it did look pretty when I swatched it!

Y, this months box is really nice, will have to see what next months is like! Is it Birchbox that you have where you are?

Zuzu, I am, especially the oil which smells like heaven!

Jenn, I don't own Blagger (I really do need to try some Butter polish!), but I've seen swatches and it does look pretty similar!

Panties, Will do a post on it when I've used it a bit more. I did use it last night and it was lovely, the scent's gorgeous!
