Clarins Everlasting Foundation Swatches

A few weeks ago I posted a little bit about a foundation I'm really loving at the moment, Clarins Everlasting. It's a medium to full coverage base that's designed to be long lasting and natural looking and I have to say, it's really good stuff. I've been using it for the past few months and love the excellent coverage it gives and how light weight it feels when I'm wearing it. I'm also really impressed with the fact that it hasn't irritated my fussy skin or caused any issues with break outs. I only posted a swatch of the colour I'm currently using (105 Nude) when I wrote about it and thought it might be helpful to swatch a few of the other shades on offer so I stopped by at the Clarins counter today.

L-R 103 Ivory, 104 Cream, 105 Nude, 107 Beige, 108 Sand

L-R 109 Wheat, 110 Honey, 111 Toffee, 112 Amber, 113 Chestnut

Has anyone else tried Everlasting? What are your thoughts on it?

  2. I've been looking for a medium coverage foundation as mine is just too sheer for my bad skin days! I'm pale too so that's great that there's lots of shades - I might have to give this one a go :)

  3. Haven't tried it, but it looks good. :)

    I'm not really into foundation!

  4. I tagged you! :)

  5. Hi,
after reading your entry I'm torn between 103, 104 and 105. They don't sell any of those in my country (Italy) so I need to order them online. Can you assist me? Which one is the fairest? And which one is the more neutral? Thanks!

  6. Hi Rosanna,

103 is the lightest shade out of the three followed by 105 and then 104. I'm not entirely sure which one is the most neutral, all the shades seem to be quite yellow,. I'd say Ivory has the least amount of yellow in it.

My MAC shade is around NC15 and Nude (105) is a pretty good match on me. I've tried 104 too and found it to be slightly too dark so I imagine this would be more suitable for NC20 skin tones.

Hope this helps a little bit. I know how frustrating it is when you have to order foundation without testing shades first! x

  7. Hello!
Thank you for your post,it's very informative!
I got a sample of this foundation today in the shade 103 Ivory and I really liked the foundation itself, but I'm not sure about the color-it's a little too dark and too pink..I mean it's great when it's just applied, but it oxidizes or something..and becomes pinkier and darker. Have you noticed the change of color with your 105 shade? And do you think it is a lot darker than 103? Because I hate pink 105 might be better for me. What do you think?Thank you :)

  8. Hi Nickie, I haven't actually noticed a change in colour after I apply 105. I'd say it's a little bit darker than 103 and it's a lot more yellow (I think 103 has the most pink in it out of the three lighter shades) so it may be a better match than Ivory :) x

  9. Hi I was just wondering if the darker shades set in a pink colour? I have found more do and am frustrated . I am sure it is a matter of spending more for better results. I am part asian /african but lighter coloured due to proactiv use ... but have dark acne scars so darker shades suit. If you have any suggestions I would appreciate it. and thanks your shade review is what I turn to for help! I LUV Make up but the heat and general weather here in Australia plays a big part in choice. Anyone else stumbling onto this blog stop and look though the other topics .. They are pretty spot on !

  10. Hi there! Thank you so much for this post, it is indeed really helpful. I see you're using 105, may I ask you, are you more on a NC15 or 20 side, and what are you in NARS? I am NC15 in MAC, Gobi in NARS and W1 (Bone) in Estee Lauder. I wanted to try this foundation so badly but in my country there is only 107 and up. So I would really appreciate any help.. what would you say.. should I go with 103 or 105? :)

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment, I really appreciate and read each and every one of them!
