A few thing's I'm currently lusting after....
NARS Brousse Duo Eye Shadow - After recently picking up the NARS And God Created The Woman Palette, I've found myself browsing through the shadow duos available on the NARS site. Quite a few of the colours on offer have caught my eye, but there's one in particular that I'm really lemming at the moment, Brousse.
Yves Saint Laurent Glossy Stains - I didn't pay much attention to these when they were released, but I've stumbled upon quite a few reviews and pretty swatches recently and am currently lusting after a few of the shades. Rose Vinyl and Corail Aquatique look particularly pretty.
Diorskin Nude Tan Healthy Glow Enhancing Powder - I received one of these in my Christmas stocking last year, but the shade is unfortunately a little bit too dark for me. The powder itself is beautiful though, and I'm very tempted to pick up one of the lighter shades on offer.
Laura Mercier Metallic Creme Eye Colours - I've been meaning to try these for quite a while, but for some reason, I keep forgetting all about them. This review and swatches at The Smallest Little Things in Life have meant Rose Gold has been added to the wishlist. I'm also tempted to give Alloy a go too, though, as looks like a fantastic everday shade.
Vichy Dermablend Corrective Foundation - I've had this on my to-try list since watching this video from Lisa Eldridge. My current tube of Make Up For Ever Full Cover is on it's last legs, so I thought this might be a nice alternative. And a cheaper one, too! I think it might be a little too heavy to use as a foundation, but according to reviews, it does work really well as concealer.
Have you tried any of these? What are you currently lusting after?
I've heard good things about that Vichy product, too, though I do agree that it does look a little heavy to be a full foundation. As a concealer, though, that's a great idea! Perhaps I'll look into that as well - my concealer's also running low.
ReplyDeleteI just picked up a tube, Larie and it's actually not as heavy as I thought it would be. I was expecting it to be quite thick and slightly difficult to blend, but it applies well and feels quite light!
DeleteI've heard amazing things about the Laura Mercier eye colour! I used to use the Vichy Dermablend foundation, but I found it really easy to overdo -- I also didn't have the brushes I use now, so that probably had something to do with it. I need to do one of these posts soon!
ReplyDeleteI know, I'm dying to get my hands on one of the Metallic Creme colours at the moment - the shades look so pretty! And you're right about the Vichy, you definitely only need a tiny amount! I imagine it would look quite unnatural if too much was applied. Looking forward to your post :)
DeleteGood stuff here, Nat. I keep trying to make one of these wish list collages but it gets out of hand pretty quickly and I have to give up, lol.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I know what you mean, Liz! I did one last month and wasn't sure if I'd have enough stuff to stick on another, but I didn't seem to have any problems ;)
DeleteThanks for the mention Nat! Hope you end up getting that Laura Mercier Eye Cream! I need to make myself a wishlist as well!
ReplyDeleteNo problem :) I am definitely going to grab one soon, I just need to decide on a shade! All of them look so pretty.
DeleteI've been harping on about how much I want a Dior bronzer for ages! maybe this will be the summer I actually pick one up :)
ReplyDeleteYou should! :) The one I've tried was a bit too dark for me, but the actual powder was lovely - really soft and easy to blend. The packaging is beautiful, too!
Deletethe ysl glossy stains are great, especially coral aquatique is very natural, in my case "your lips but better". If you are not sure of the texture try first the l´oreal shine caresse ones because they are very similar. I recommend the two.
