September GlossyBox - 5 Future Classics

I received my third GlossyBox in the post this morning and thought I'd share a quick post on it. As with the other two boxes I've received, September's contains some really lovely products, two of which are full size!

L'Oreal Professionnel Mythic Oil (Full Size)
Enriched with a special blend of avocado and grape seed oil, this lightweight oil cares and pampers for all hair types. Intensely nourishing even the finest hair, the formula leaves hair looking shiny and feeling supple

Plum by Mary Greenwell EDP 1.5ml
Plum is the signature fragrance of celebrity makeup artist, Mary Greenwell. A stunning chypre with a memorable, modern twist

HD Brows Eye & Brow Palette (full Size)
Eyebrow experts HD Brows have developed this fantastic multi-use palette containing four matte eye-brow colours. They double up as an eye shadow and eyeliner as well as lasting 24 hours

StriVectin SD Eye Concentrate 7ml
A multi-dimensional eye cream targeting crow's feet, dark circles and puffiness around the eyes

Nuxe Oil
Huile Prodigieuse is a multi-function and multi usage dry oil made of 6 precious oils with 98% natural ingredients, no preservatives and no silicone. This must have oil hydrates, softens and beautifies face, body and hair.

I've only briefly looked through all the different products and haven't had chance to try anything properly yet, but I imagine I'll actually use everything I received this month. The brow palette looks fantastic, the EDP smells beautiful and I'm looking forward to trying both of the oils and eye cream.

August GlossyBox - Wash & Glow!

I received my first GlossyBox last month and was really pleased with the lovely products I got. There were a couple of duds which I wasn't particularly keen on (Powdered metal & the blue polish), but the rest of the items were great and I've really enjoyed using them over the last few weeks. After getting such nice goodies in last months box, I wasn't expecting much from August's, so I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it and found another selection of great products.

Here's the contents of August's box....

August GlossyBox contents

A full size KMS hairstay style boost

A 30ml tube of Murad Time Release Acne Cleanser

A 40ml tube of AHAVA Deadsea Water Mineral Body Lotion

A full size Daniel Sandler Jumbo Jet Mascara

Rebel Nails Nail Sensations

I received my box yesterday, so I haven't had chance to try everything yet. I have tested the mascara which I'm pretty impressed with and I've also sampled the body lotion which smells lovely. The Murad cleanser came at the right time because my skin's decided to erupt recently, so I'm looking forward to trying that, and I'm also looking forward to giving the Hairstay a go. The only item I don't think I'll be using from this month's box, is the Rebel Nails nail wraps, but everything else seems to be great.

The price of GlossyBox is due to increase to £12.95 next month, and I'm happy to pay the extra as long as the company are consistent with the contents each month.

July GlossyBox - Ready, steady, Glow!

I actually signed up to GlossyBox early last month, but missed out on June's box as it had already sold out. I know a lot of subscribers were dissatisfied with the contents of June's box and I have to say, I wasn't that disappointed that I'd missed out after seeing what others had received. I came home today to find that July's box had been delivered and frantically opened the lovely packaging to see what goodies were inside....

GlossyBox

I wasn't disappointed when I lifted the lid and found three full size products inside!

July GlossyBox contents

A full size Illamasqua Powdered Metal Powder in Ether which is described a shimmering, pale gold highlighter.

A full size Ciate Nail Enamel in Skinny Jeans.

A 100ml bottle of Weleda Pomegranate Regenerating Oil.

A mini bottle of Orla Kiely Eau De Parfum & Ultrasun face SPF 30.

I obviously haven't had chance to try anything properly yet, but I have swatched the Illamasqua powder which looks really pretty and I've also had a quick sniff of the EDP and oil. The perfume smells really lovely and the oil is absolutely beautiful, really looking forward to testing it out properly this evening.

I'm obviously over the moon with the contents of my GlossyBox this month. The three full sized products are worth around £50.00, so considering the box cost £10.00 (the price is increasing slightly in September), it's fantastic deal.

GlossyBox!

I've been reading lots of posts recently about the Birchbox on different blogs and have complained quite a few times about how we don't have anything similar here in the UK. Well, this morning I found out about GlossyBox which looks like it's the UK version. The idea is that you pay a monthly subscription fee of £10.00 and every month you receive a little pink box filled with five luxury sample sized/mini products to try.

When you sign up for the box you fill out a personal beauty file so the products that are sent to you each month suit your skin type and tastes. Each box also contains product info, application notes and tips and tricks on beauty and style. There also seems to be an option to leave feedback for the items/products you receive which you can earn Glossydots for. You earn a Glossydot for each product you leave feedback for and when you've saved up twenty dots, you get a free box!

Sounds pretty good to me. I love sample sizes and it seems like a great way of trying out new products. I think I'll be signing up for mine tonight!
